Have you ever felt like you're chasing a dream that's always just out of reach? Well, that’s my journey as an aspiring entrepreneur. I’m a recent MBA graduate with a passion for travel and an insatiable curiosity for entrepreneurship. Naturally, as I embark on this long journey of entrepreneurship, I am in need of some creative outlet. So, this blog is my outlet for sharing frustrations, discoveries, and hopefully, a bit of inspiration.

Today's post is about introductions. I want to share a bit about myself and what fueled my entrepreneurial spirit.

I am what they call an avid traveler. For me, traveling has always been my escape from reality. Since childhood, I've been lucky enough to visit exotic destinations, but the true joy lay in the meticulous planning with my dad. We would spend countless hours on Google Earth, reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, and scouring the internet to ensure everyone had the best experience possible. It was our special project, and I loved every moment of it.

Given my love for travel, it was only a matter of time before I ventured into the travel tech space. If you're an entrepreneur, you know this market is fiercely competitive with thin margins—exactly the kind of market my MBA professors warned against. So, why did I choose it? Maybe I’m a bit of a dreamer, but I believe in myself and in the potential of creating something extraordinary! I see the travel tech space as an opportunity to blend my passion with innovation and bring a unique solution to my fellow travellers, while also helping small businesses in touristy cities thrive.

Embarking on this entrepreneurial journey has been both exciting and challenging. To navigate these challenges effectively, I need to leverage every bit of advice from my business school professors.

One of the most valuable pieces of advice I received was to start by clearly stating the problem. I’ve done that. However, a good entrepreneur knows that our perceptions are often clouded by biases. I’m aware that the problem I’m trying to solve comes with its own set of assumptions. So, my mission for the next two weeks is to interview as many potential customers as possible to uncover and understand these biases.

That’s all for now. I’ll be back in about a week with updates. Until then, keep pushing forward and remember, success is a journey, not a destination!
